Kim Spinney is a senior asset management and affordable housing leader with nearly 20 years of experience, including asset management, development, acquisitions, financing, and portfolio strategy. Her expertise spans LIHTC, Section 8, tax-exempt bonds, new construction, rehabilitation, historic conversions, and multifamily acquisitions.

 

Kim has managed and provided strategic oversight for large portfolios exceeding $700 million and 13,000+ affordable housing units across multiple regions of the United States, on behalf of both Investors and Owners. Her experience includes leading asset management teams, optimizing portfolio performance, managing complex financing and development activities, and navigating projects through construction, lease-up, stabilization, refinancing, and disposition.

 

Throughout her career, Kim has led complex transactions and portfolio initiatives, including 36 bond reissuances that reduced principal balances by more than $124 million, the financing and development of affordable housing communities, and the transition of property management operations across numerous assets.
