Robert Freeman

Assistant Vice President - Development

Mr. Freeman joined the team in 2024 and serves as the Assistant Vice President of Development with Blue Sky Communities. In this capacity, he is responsible for managing each aspect of the project after it's been selected for funding which includes gathering all due diligence items, working with AHJ's and spearheading the permitting process, negotiating contracts with design consultants and GC's, managing pay applications and change orders throughout construction, and construction monitoring through completion. Prior to joining Blue Sky Communities, Robert worked for McDowell Housing Partners, another affordable housing developer, and also has extensive experience in the structured debt space.
