Jennifier Smithson

Project Manager

Jennifier Smithson is a Project Manager with Blue Sky Communities, where she helps manage affordable housing developments through the construction process. She works closely with the development and construction teams, contractors, consultants, and other project partners to help keep projects moving forward.

Jennifier joined Blue Sky in February 2020 and will celebrate seven years with the company in February 2027. During that time, she has worked in Accounting, Finance, and Development, giving her the opportunity to learn many different sides of the affordable housing industry. Her experience at Blue Sky includes assisting with project closings, underwriting requests, Florida Housing Finance Corporation submissions, change orders, and construction-related project coordination.

With more than 25 years of accounting experience, Jennifier brings a strong financial background to her role as a Project Manager. She enjoys continuing to learn and grow within the development and construction side of the business and values the experience she has gained throughout her time at Blue Sky.
